SureFire LFP123A Rechargeable Battery Kit
Rechargeable 123A cells and a charger, and SureFire says what you give up.
The rundown
Two rechargeable LFP123A cells and a two-bay smart charger that fills both in about three hours. The charger ends the cycle on its own at full capacity and protects against overcharge, short circuit, and reverse polarity. The cells hold roughly 80% of their original capacity after hundreds of cycles, and there is nothing hazardous in them.
SureFire is direct about the cost: these do not match the capacity of their 123A lithium primaries. Which cell belongs in which light is your call. The difference shows up as runtime, not as brightness.
