The rundown
The Type 22 runs a steeper vertical grip angle than a standard A2 and leaves the backstrap off on purpose. With nothing filling the gap behind the trigger guard the hand sits higher on the grip, which is what puts the trigger finger where it belongs instead of where the grip puts it. Milspec polymer, aggressive texture, available in all standard colors, made in the USA.
It accepts the B5 Battery Grip Plug. Without one the cavity stays open.
